Hi @Viktor & @Freetrade_Team.
I understand our new INVEST BY FREETRADE platform will support instant topup while on beta version. And more options added with time.
I think Freetrade should also give few beta tester free instant trade worth £1 while on testing or if we have enough Alpha members to support platform durability test.
I honestly don’t mind paying £1 for instant trade as I know what price I’m paying.
Hey Ela, you can use your app as normal, apart from the three things we outlined in the post above.
There’s also the slight possibility of other small teething problems, but nothing major has been reported so far from the users who’ve migrated over. In fact, the feedback so far has been that the experience is seamless.
We’ll be in touch with you when we add more users onto the beta!
The Investment Platform is purely behind the scenes and shouldn’t have any immediate noticeable effects on the apps besides increased reliability and processing things such as deposits quicker behind the scenes. There shouldn’t be any changes to app behaviour from it right now.
I can’t seem to reproduce this bug myself right now, but if you’re commonly running into it, please do report it to our Customer Ops team who will get it to the right people to look at.
I registered for beta testing, on Wednesday I think after 20min of Invest by Freetrade was posted.
Since morning I have been looking for updates on Freetrade or any changes that may differ from previous app.
So as @simonpoole said their is no immediate noticable effects on the app. So I tried to topup my account to see if instant topup works. So it’s been 20min and money not available.
I have tried browsing Freetrade app on both Android and iOS.
