I last sold the n this at 10.4a while back and have threatened to buy whilst around 6 for a while. Feel like I have missed the boat really given the is not any actual news. Will keep an eye on
Any share rise is good, but be wary. This could be just another spike, which weāve seen before.
No confirmed news, and if this rise is based on an unfounded rumour, itāll come down just as quick as itās gone up.
GDXJ, the van Eck Junior Gold Miners ETF iirc.
Nice. A whole Ā£1.39 in the green. This time last week I was over Ā£113 in the red
Great to see green with this share lol. Iām very much still in the red. But itās a long term hold for me. And green, feels close.
Oh well.
Nice while it lasted
Still well up on Fridayās close, and far ahead of last Tuesday.
Retreated with gold spot price thatās all.
Brace yourselves looks like normal service resumed, dropping.
I expect this kind of spike to occur intermittently - we wonāt see a meaningful upwards change unless and until there is some kind of favourable agreement over Havieron, or there is another world class discovery in the other fields.
If youāre brave enough (Iām not), you could trade them up and down!
One of my first holdings this one. Interesting times ahead now. Suspended trading whilst deals finalised
Hopefully this will be the 1st of my speculative buys to become a home run.
Interesting times indeed.
I suspect thereāll be a few ups and downs along the way, but Iām feeling cautiously optimistic for this one.

As part of its efforts to offload non-core assets, Newmont (NYSE: NEM, TSX: NGT, ASX: NEM, PNGX: NEM) has agreed to sell its Telfer mine, 70% stake in the Havieron project, plus other related interests in Australiaās Paterson region, to Greatland Gold (AIM: GGP).
In exchange, the worldās leading gold miner expects to receive $207.5 million in cash, $167.5 million in Greatland shares, and a deferred cash payment of $100 million linked to gold prices and production from Havieron. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
Greatland Gold PLC on Tuesday announced a ātransformational acquisitionā of a number of assets from Newmont Corp, the Colorado, US-based gold miner.
Newmont is expected to hold up to 20.4% of the enlarged group, with an initial 12 month voluntary lock-in, a further 12 month orderly market arrangement and a relationship agreement in place to affirm alignment. Up to $100 million of the acquisition consideration is deferred until Havieron commences commercial production and is also subject to a gold price hurdle.
In connection with the deal, Greatland Gold intends to raise Ā£248.6 million via a placing at 4.8 pence per share.
The placing will be offered by way of an accelerated bookbuild available to qualifying investors, which will be launched immediately.
In addition, the firm aims to raise Ā£6.8 million via a retail offer at the same price.
As we canāt get them with Freetrade who do we have to use for access to primary bid offer?
Hello everyone, just a silly question,
What will happen now with our shares, and when can sell or buy again on freetrade?
Thanks
I believe the suspension ends this morning and the shares will be trading again from 8am.
