How are ISA fees collected?

Hello,
I have a query about how ISA fees are collected.
According this thread, it might be by direct debit : ISA monthly fee.
I’m hoping to get a more definitive answer.
Is it a direct debit for certain?
Can the fee be collected from the cash component of freetrade GIA?

Not technically direct debit, it’s charged to the debit card you provide when you activate the ISA/Plus options which you need to keep up to date.
