Football sponsorship in the traditional sense can be fun - but hard to measure conversion if thereās not a solid and ongoing (expensive) digital integration on the club side.
There have been some smart moves where the shirt takes you into a new audience in a very strategic way.
The standout of the past couple of years has been burger Kings stevenage sponsorship.
This is actually a good idea for a growing company such as Freetrade in terms of brand awareness as opposed to some of the brands that we see sponsoring tams but are quite well known already. A good example is Teamviewer for Man Utd, had never heard of them before.
Targeted online advertising is surely the most efficient nowadays.
This came up for me on a crappy free game.
Because of Apple iOS 14 update with ATT. (App tracking transparency) effectiveness of targeting and online attribution has declined.
Plus freetrade are now big enough to expand there marketing mix and push on brand based advertising which yes is less measurable but if done effectively can have much better results and has impact on long term loyalty.
But it would really have to be the maglia rosa , from the Giro dāItalia

I donāt Iām afraid however how many new user numbers have you had on this forum?
Hey Simon.
I have no axe to grind at all here. I am sure you have heard the famous quote:
āYou can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you canāt please all of the people all of the timeā
This forum is exactly that in my opinion. People sometimes say stuff that I dont agree with particularly, or that drives me a bit nuts. However, the best thing to do is maybe have one reasoned counter to their argument, and then drop it. Life is too short.
Personally I agree that the US should always be in play for any company that is looking to expand globally. However, it might take more time and money than this particular company want to apply at this stage, especially with potentially more low hanging fruit in terms of say bits of Europe, Australia and Canada.
I like your chat, I like (some!) of your ideas and comments and really want you to continue to participate. Maybe try the one counter argument and then done model?
Cheers fella. Hope you stick around
