I have no axe to grind at all here. I am sure you have heard the famous quote:
“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”
This forum is exactly that in my opinion. People sometimes say stuff that I dont agree with particularly, or that drives me a bit nuts. However, the best thing to do is maybe have one reasoned counter to their argument, and then drop it. Life is too short.
Personally I agree that the US should always be in play for any company that is looking to expand globally. However, it might take more time and money than this particular company want to apply at this stage, especially with potentially more low hanging fruit in terms of say bits of Europe, Australia and Canada.
I like your chat, I like (some!) of your ideas and comments and really want you to continue to participate. Maybe try the one counter argument and then done model?

The app has bene around 25 in the ranking of the App Store. So you can assume 1k-1.2k per day, or 35k-40k on a monthly basis in my opinion…

I don’t think it is…
It would be unusual to launch in multiple international territories without much of a team, the required regulatory licences or any form of beta testing / soft launch…
Sadly I suspect this will slip to Q4 of this calendar year or Q1 of next.
I hope I’m surprised, but I wouldn’t bet on any EU launch happening next month.
Would be great to see 1 million U.K. users hit this year and that’s looking very likely and should on its own underpin a £750m valuation IMO.

Aberdeen looses 6 billion in withdrawl of customer funds and ends up buying a lesser version of freetrade.
A good sign that apps like freetrade are the future and expensive funds (which fail to beat the market) are the past!
