25,000 boeing 747s have a capacity of 11.67m passengers, not 1m.

Population of Birmingham is 1.36m, not 1m

Hope freetrade are better at calculating my dividends.

Congrats BTW :tada:

Shouldn’t take more than a few weeks of effort at this rate

Depends if it’s the King of Saudi Arabia’s 747 or a ā€˜last plane out of Kabul’ 747.

That’s 15,000 signups in the last 30 hours.

I will say it slowly:

If they keep the rhythm of 13,000 new users per day, :freetrade: Freetrade could hit 2,000,000 users BEFORE 2021 ENDS.

Lmao, glad the marketing team don’t do the maths.

Probably misremembered/read the script incorrectly (2500 → 25000) and the graphics team based the accompanying images off his dialogue.

I’d buy them a calculator then :joy: They also didn’t add up the prize money correctly on the Rita promo so definitely need to proof read numbers before posting. It is unimportant in reality but not a great look for a finance company.

Just own goals on 2 GREAT bits of news, Rita promo and 1m customers, that shouldn’t have ever been a talking point.

Luckily outside the forum most wouldn’t notice. Well done for the massive increase and hope it is even more with expansion, things are looking good!!!

Im starting to suspect Crowdfunding may be a thing of the past and we wont get another opportunity to invest until IPO. Hope Im wrong but I have a feeling they may decide management time is better spent on other things. Clearly not going to happen in 2021.

I think that would leave a bitter taste in the mouths of those who supported Freetrade from the very beginning…
They could of course ignore them and carry on, but surely it wouldn’t be a huge strain on resources given they’ve done it several times before.
They were planning to crowdfund in Europe too, it’s a good idea to get some die hard EU supporters invested too, in order to replicate the success seen here in the UK.

We just received confirmation (last month) that FT will be crowdfunding this year, albeit later than the original schedule.

At this stage, I think that more important than capital raised from the crowdfunding round are the marketing opportunities it brings.

I am sure the FT leadership see many parameters we don’t and they WILL pick the optimal timing for raises etc. It is good to guess and fun but in reality we on the forum know so little it is comical we think we know when would be best :joy:

That isn’t a insult as I have done it but having trust in the FT team. :+1:

Valuation was around, what, Ā£300m last time around even before GME? Wouldn’t say Ā£1b valuation is out of the question by the time the next round comesšŸ‘€
