2020 Series B confirmed?! :eyes:

I hope it’s not too similar to Robinhood, as they gave up on the UK and the last point on that slide is ā€œWithdraws from Chinaā€

I remember, nearly missed investing back then as I saw the name and thought it’s something else  glad I clicked through though.

Also regret not getting the grey hoodie with the original colour logo

…hope no one minds me adding that old image there…

From the size of the circle I’d guess they’re raising Ā£5m?

You are kind, Jonny. I feel decades older compared to when we started Freetrade!

We learnt a lot and ready to go even bigger in every way. :rocket::rocket:

I piled in in 2016 about as soon as I saw the name and Adam (on the pitch video first). It was so clear the world needed Freetrade, desperately.

That’s such a lovely image of early investors. Thanks for posting it!

Series B I would think would be between 40 to 50m to really give that market push

I think it’s impossible for us on this forum to guess how much they need for a series B without knowing the current financials, and what they intend to use it for.

Do they really need Ā£50M? and are they in a position to use that much money effectively? I don’t know and I don’t think anyone does except Adam and Victor

Let’s cut to the chase, when will Freetrade be a unicorn fintech. I would appreciate a rough estimate from Adam & Viktor:clap::clap::+1:
I will say 2023 comfortably. That could be the year they enter North America

I’ll give you a rough estimate. Not in 2020.

@adam As a suggestion, maybe to address the point about market penetration and growth rate would it be helpful to measure users acquired as % population of investors in the market?

I’m aware of the usual caveats such as millennials not being part of this group of investors pre-free trade eras.

Maybe another suggestion is to present two to three corroborating data points to demonstrate the momentum.
