We’re not supposed to give buying advice, which I think is probably a good thing (avoids scams like pump and dump, or overconfident people giving bad advice).

Freetrade do have some beginner guides, I’d look at those if unsure what to buy.

I wouldn’t buy just one stock but a mix of one off stocks (I try to go no more than 5% in an individual company) and funds.

Funds. Individual stocks for fun, but funds for serious amounts.

I would suggest that you look at different ETFs

Also think about how long you want to invest for/what you need to money for
