What Iām saying is the order is sent. The platform is up. Some orders may be delayed a little in conformation, but thatās not the same as your entire platform going down.
212 right now is gone, their whole service just blew up.
Right now I can login and send orders in freetrade

Ok, yes, agree in that sense and eventually my order got confirmed. Freetrade seems to be doing better than other brokerages

So actually we see today a reason to stay with @freetrade . Like many, I pondered over moving to T212 next year (because of my ISA I can only move next year) but todayās events show that t212 is not solid, while FT can handle it. I don0āt hold shares of GME sadly but I am thoroughly enjoying the ride. For those who have shares: good luck and congratulations!

Iām so happy that Freetrade built their own investment platform. It was annoying missing out on features in the early days (some could argue currently too) but days like these prove why Freetrade owning their own platform is so important!

Itās crazy to me how a sub-reddit community can cause a stock to rise 70% in one day. Like how much money do these people have to pour into stuff like this that it could make such a huge movement in the price.

Itās just locked. Long time members of the sub had been asking, for a couple of days, to restrict the page so that only accounts older than X could be allowed to participate. There were concerns that newcomers were trying to divert attention away from GME and talk about other things.
Itās not uncommon for subreddits to do this when they become high profile in normie media but, yep, it should be interesting to see what happens to the price overnight!
WSB has been made private quite often. Itās weird to see the Discord go though - Iām pretty sure thatās not happened before, itās possibly unrelated (although itās complete trash so it may have before and no one cares).
The mods have been doing a great job, but this is definitely a good move.

I believe the discord was shutdown because of āhate speechāā¦apparently it was a shit show in there.
WSB is just private at the momentā¦they were getting so much spam that they had to deal with and posts about what is the next GME etc.
