Is there maximum holding limits on stocks

Hi all, new here. I’m considering open an ISA with Freetrade in the coming April and I was wondering if Freetrade has maximum holding limits for each stock? T212 set limits for each individual stock and that’s slowly becoming a problem for me.

I know Freetrade has a single order value limit of 100k for UK and US stocks, but you can place mulitple of those if needed, so not really a real limit. Does Freetrade also limit how many shares you can own or cap the value of holding for individual stock?

Many thanks!

Hello, looks like there is no hard limit.

No we don’t have these limits!

T212 normally move to em if you give good reason

chatted with team requesting a raise of the limit but was declined after review

Yes, you can’t buy anymore than 100% of the issued capital of a company.
At that point, you own it.

It’ll be less than that as at certain points they’re required for takeover.

Shame I can’t put in 50 quid and claim ownership of Greggs :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
