The iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. Treasury bonds with remaining maturities greater than twenty years.
This would be a great addition for any one following Ray Dalio’s all-weather fund strategy.
30% Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF VTI
40% iShares 20+ Year Treasury ETF TLT
15% iShares 7-10 Year Treasury ETF IEF
7.50% SPDR Gold Shares ETF GLD
7.50% PowerShares DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund DBC
Indeed. That was my intention.
In case you are interested, my approach to emulate the all-weather portfolio, using Freetrade’s available ETFs is:
30% £VUSA
55% £IBTM
15% £SGLN
So far it’s doing well. Got 6% net return in 25 days.
interesting, glad to hear you’ve getting good results!
What do you think of buying Glencore - £GLEN to give exposure to commodities?
I am not sure it would give me the right diversification for commodities, it would also include company risk. Gold is the next best thing, and so far it’s working well.
Any idea if this request was considered/going to be put on the list of options?
