What are peoples thoughts on the iShares UK Dividend UCITS ETF

I was just looking at Dividend ETFs (bored at work) it’s not something I have really looked at before. My ETFs are:

  • FTSE All-World UCITS ETF
  • iShares S&P 500 Technology UCITS ETF
  • FTSE Emerging Markets UCITS ETF
  • FTSE 250 UCITS ETF
  • U.K. Gilt UCITS ETF
  • iShares Gold Producers ETF

Which are currently 78% of my portfolio.

Good YTD returns. I just worry that the markets are a bit top heavy. That said the UK election result (and what that means) will see a decent bounce for UK stocks that earn in £. Looking at your portfolio above you dont have a lot of exposure to the UK market so could be a good one to add for a bit of balance.

I want to replicate something close to Vanguard life-strategy funds but there are a few gaps. Plus I need fractional trading!!

Interesting ETF, but with the bump in UK-listed markets recently yield is looking less attractive. If it comes back down a bit it’ll be more popular.
