Limit to sell value in single transaction

Hi team,

Is there a maximum value that we can sell in a single transaction?

I.e. is the max value £10k for a single sale transaction.

There’s currently a £9,900 per order limit for both buys and sells. :blush:

Is there a reason for this limit and are there any plans to increase the limits in the near future?

This is due to the PTM Levy that applies for UK orders over £10,000.

We are looking to allow for payment of the PTM Levy in-app in the future so that orders can go above the £9,900 amount!

I don’t really understand why the PTM Levy should stop us doing orders over £9900. Can we please get this feature pushed in asap! :pray: Thanks FT!

Thank you for claryfing the issue. I have another question and I didn’t want to start new topic just for that :slight_smile:

Is it correct that Panel of Takeovers and Mergers requires £1 fee per transaction over £10,000. Would you consider giving users the choice of paying the fee if they want to set up transaction above the current limit?

Can you also clarify why there are two limits: £25,000 for standard order and £9,900 for automated order at the moment?
