I have bought some LVMH stock under General Investment Account, however Freetrade does not allow me to buy it under the SIPP account.
Is there a reason why this is the case ?

It seems to be the same for all French stocks, unfortunately. It would be good to know why they can’t be held in a FT Sipp.

LVMH et al. are classified as ineligible.
Unfortunately, my investigations as to why is still ongoing.
Logically, it is probably to do with with HMRC?..deciding this for whatever reason, was it like this pre Brexit? It is a oxymoronic paradox that US shares are permitted in a sipp and yet not some EU shares. Definitely Brexit…
