Yes that’s right. You receive the income and a notification, then ideally you should re-invest it into your portfolio immediately for compound growth.

IUKD
JCGI
both IMHO, have good value growth potential at this moment and great % 1/4ly payers.
ULVR also another that has both a solid % 1/4ly payment and also potential value growth.

Blackrock World Mining c. 7% Yield
Quarterly. Short-Mid Term Hold

I was thinking about JGGI or SAIN last year but my investment goals changed. Both are forward looking strategies unlike a lot of income trusts out there.

DEC - Diversified Energy Company buy price £1.24 Quarterly Dividends 10.88% yield

While listed in the UK it is a US company so 15% tax gobbled up, but still doing me proud.

Also a holder of DEC, they had some bad press because of methane gas leaking from some of there wells, they have invested heavily to spot and fix the leaks. Gas demand is also going to remain strong which is there core business.

How often do UKW pay dividends?

Quarterly. first quarter dividend is this month

So if I choose to invest this month will I get dividends?

As long as you are in before the ex-dividend date you will get the dividends due.

12th of May i believe is the ex date for Greencoats so if you are un before the close of play on the 11th.

Cool thanks for the reply

dividendmax.com is a website I really like to track my stock holding. I normally check ex-dividend dates for all companies there add the number of shares I have to the notification page only until that date and ignore ones I buy thereafter until after that dividend payment. That way, you are able to get an accurate account of the amount you will be paid in dividends at the next payment dates on the Dashboard page. You can, but do not have to, register for a paid account.

Evraz was great for dividends…

One I’ve bought into recently is Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. - share price barely moves, 8.73% dividend according to Freetrade.
