Based on the most recent information provided by Freetrade during the last crowdfunding round, the European app is anticipated to be released by the end of 2024 only if they successfully secure an additional institutional investment of 35 million.
However, if they do not reach the 35 million target, the release might be delayed until 2025 or later…unfortunatly

Thanks for your questions about our Swedish expansion. I thought I could take the chance to relieve @acamp of a bit of the pressure 
As you know following our soft launch in 2023, we focused as a business on reaching profitability. That meant scaling back the resources we dedicated to Sweden.
Since I joined, I’ve started growing our customer base month-by-month through scrappy and low-cost tactics. Speaking with customer here, I know that local retail investors are desperate for a challenger to the “big two” that is properly localised.

All customers have a unique identifier in our platform. The user experience is different but the platform is the same

Since the launch of Bank ID, has there been any meaningful uptick in Swedish users?
You mention that retail investors are ‘desperate for a challenger’ but the lack of Swedish users shows that they don’t see Freetrade as the answer. Why is that?
