Just reading up on this:

I’d assumed both referer and referee would receive the same share. I’d don’t mind each being randomised but maybe it would be nice to each know what the other received.

@n1cks, out of curiosity, how you got 2 free share ? I thought we can earn only 1 free share regardless of number of people joining using the link? Has this limitation lifted by FT?

I will not be impressed if I get a Manchester United share :cold_sweat:

If you’ve had a successful referral another share referral should become available when a new batch is issued by the Freetrade team. :+1:

Me too, I just went ahead and shared the link.

Anybody else had the following issue?

I shared my referral link, the person used it downloaded the app and signed up - but got stuck on the verify identity screen. In app chat says they have now been verified but they are still stuck on verifying page.

We have uninstalled the app and reinstalled and it still sticks at that page. So far they have now been impressed with freetrade :frowning: even though I reassure them it is awesome.

Can they send us another message, as this certainly shouldn’t happen?

Someone tried to use my referral but they already had an account :man_facepalming: Does this make the referral not valid anymore? Because someone without an account is trying to use it but it says it’s already been used!

Yes, the invite is used at the point when someone enters their email address on the webpage. We’ll review how we can make this part of the process better.
