MEGATHREAD: What stocks should we add next week? 📲💥

Are you sure?
I am very surprised as I have seen Stratasys (SSYS) available on ISAs on other platforms.
Where can we check the list?

These have been listed above, go and like them to boost them up and delete this post so others don’t split their likes.

Happy reading👍🏼

I know it’s a very late play so I understand if this doesn’t make it but Cheniere Energy (NYSE:LNG) are dominating the liquefied natural gas space. Electrification needs gas to power it, Cheniere have customers on take-or-pay contracts. I’d love to get access to them…

Thanks. There is no list of shares, but it does provide the Exchanges that are accepted.

If you click on shares and then follow to the HMRC recognised exchanges, you will see that in Table 2 on this page:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/recognised-stock-exchanges-definition-legislation-and-tables/recognised-stock-exchanges-definition-legislation-and-tables-of-recognised-exchanges#tables-of-recognised-stock-exchanges

There is a list of countries where Exchanges are recognised by HMRC:

Which is this page:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/recognised-stock-exchanges-section-1005-income-tax-act-2007/shorter-tables#united-states-of-america

It clearly states that:

"Date of recognition

The date of recognition for jurisdiction in United States of America is 22 October 1970 to 1 October 2008.
Recognised stock exchanges

A stock exchange in the USA is a recognised stock exchange for UK tax purposes if it meets the following: “Any exchange registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States (SEC) as a national securities exchange under section 6 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is a recognised stock exchange for UK tax purposes”.

The recognised stock exchanges in United States of America are:

BATs Exchange Inc
Boston Stock Exchange
Chicago Board Options Exchange
Chicage Stock Exchange
International Securities Exchange
National Stock Exchange
New York Stock Exchange
NYSE MKT
NYSE Arca
NASDAQ OMX PHLX
NASDAQ

"

As you see, it evens lists the NASDAQ, where Stratasys is listed on.

Am I missing something?

Either way it is no issue for me as I do not have an ISA. I just like to understand.

FactSet - NYSE: FDS

Plantronics PLT
I’m from a competitor Logitech in the video space, but they will.come back strong… they have already risen from a low of 4 bucks in March.get it in quick and see some quick gains for sure

It’s a strange one. If you search the SSYS on either Hargreaves Lansdown or AJ Bell no results are returned so neither of them seem to offer it at all.

It may have something to do with the fact that the company is dual headquartered in Israel which is not a recognised country by HMRC?

Looking into ISA-eligibility. Thanks for this.

We are a small team, so operationally it’s easier. Note to self, need to write content for 100+ stocks as some of our team is on holiday. But it’s a pleasure, and this batch is going to be the best one yet!

I like the phased approach, it gives the buying community time to reflect and make suggestions for the next batches.

Appreciate all the time you and the team put into this, especially since we are a demanding bunch

Ha, not enough. Which I know is not that healthy, but working on it, promise. :+1:

It’s all worth it when we see customers happy.
