We typically look at community votes and market cap both.
But sometimes there is a time element, e.g. a lot of people want Hertz and Wirecard due to news around these companies these last few days.
I personally read every thread and comment to make sure we add everything our community wants and we are able* to add.
Let’s make the next 100 stocks even more interesting! Please comment with the US-listed stocks or UK-listed stocks and ETFs you’d like added, and we’ll do our best that they are in the next batch. Like the comments with the stocks you want added most.
*We’re working on being able to add everything of course, and our ambitions are very high in terms of what will be in the universe. What we can’t do for now are nationality declaration stocks and US REITs, and we’ll be working on both.
I’d vote for any remaining Vanguard funds which aren’t covered (I know this has got a lot better lately, especially with the added iShares ones).
Also, is it possible to look at some of the European green funds like Greencoat Renewables so we have some protection against a week £ later in the year when the Tories push through the hardest of hard Brexits.
