The punish begins because the tik tok and hawiaiaiaia bans

Don’t think this will particularly apply to Nvidia as they don’t make the kind of CPU’s that are referenced in the article.

Nvidia already has it’s GPUs banned from exporting to China, even the GPUs they tried to workaround the ban - https://www.cnbc.com/2023/10/17/us-bans-export-of-more-ai-chips-including-nvidia-h800-to-china.html

Presumably you’d think it’s already priced in

Anyone knows why the drop in SP

Potentially become a hype stock (like Tesla a few years ago). It cannot have unsustainable growth in the SP forever

Just a buying dip today.
I’m still looking at $1088 :money_mouth_face:
:face_with_monocle: earnings …

Some of the dip in price was reaction to Intel’s and Google’s announcements of AI chips

Intel seemingly (from their own numbers) in a rough ballpark with the H100

Google (like Microsoft and Amazon) trying to reduce their reliance somewhat on Nvidia and/or AMD with an alternative option (for Google Cloud in this case)

Nvidia will use panel level fan-out packaging for GB200 systems in 2025, a year earlier than expected, as the bottleneck on CoWoS advanced semiconductor packaging continues, media report, with Taiwan’s Powertech and Innolux preparing to win orders. Around 420,000 GB200 super chips are expected in the 2nd half of this year based on CoWoS capacity, with 2025 output seen at 1.5 million to 2 million units. $NVDA $TSM #semiconductors money.udn.com/money/story/11…
