Nvidia 🍟 💻 - NVDA

On a dedicated thread there’s nothing wrong with frequency posting if it’s informative and adds value. You can say you’ve been completely correct on SP to date.

Short interest is equivalent to only 1% ($34 billion) of the stocks market value. Big money doesn’t want to bet against this price rise just yet.

Exciting times.
All the yummy shares popping into our accounts over the weekend

Gonna be fun and games on Monday

I’m thinking maybe a drop bounce to $105

:sunglasses: but what do I know

We are so close to being the biggest company on the entire planet

I’m a rocket ship on my way to Mars
on a collision course
I am a satellite, I’m out of control
I’m a sex machine, ready to reload
like an atom bomb
About to oh, explode

You reckon there’s a change it will drop 15% in the coming days?

15% is IMO a good number to look at , at $105 it will take us back to the price we were

What percentage of your portfolio is now comprised of Nvidia?

I thought I was late to the party so only bought a small stake but it’s now around 12% of my portfolio which is fairly significant. Thinking of buying a few more is the price does significantly after the split.

Time to start making our way back to $1000

That forward PE tho

Has NVDA disappeared from Freetrade since the split? I can’t see it any more. Is it expected back tomorrow?

what NVDA price rise has done to my now completey unbalanced portfolio

43.9%

I can see it in my portfolio with a message saying that because of a “corporate action” the stock has been de-listed.

I assume the split will happen just before the stock is re listed prior to the US market opening tomorrow. About 2.30 Uk afternoon time.

IBKR and Etoro are showing as $120 and have split my stock, T212 and Robinhood still listed at $1200 with still the old amount of shares in my account,
Im guessing everything will update monday morning at 1am GMT for the start of the overnight trading sesions

90% down in overnight trading :weary:

Interesting comparison being made here, not sure it’s the same but interesting none the less:

Same here. But mine are all with Revolut. 40 in total now.
Not sure whether to buy more there or start buying on Freetrade. As I bought the last lot a long time ago.

but… in the year 2000 at the hight of the dot com bubble CSCO had a forward P/E of 192 vs NVDA current forward P/E of 47 :innocent:
there is no comparison

basically in 2000 every one saw CSCO was massive overpriced and the share price collapsed

Slightly underwhelmed by the performance after the split TBH  lets hope we’ll continue to see a steady growth in the coming weeks.

Yeah Cisco traded at 39x sales in 2000, it was very clearly overbought.

People treated it as a proxy for investing in a revolutionary new technology without thinking at all about how much would be captured by that one company.
