Petrobrasil PBR

Whats the consensus on div rates staying where they are for 2024?

I’m up over 50% in terms of price movement as they’ve been doing well over the last few months but not sure whether dividends are likely to remain or be cut further - therefore realise some of the gains now or continue to hold for the income.

I think is still undervalued even at this price (I’m up 42% sp). Nobody can tell you exactly what to do, but personally I will hold this “forever”. Even if the div will be cut in half, for example, it still will be around 11/12%, without counting your actual yield on price that should be way higher.

Of course hold a gain of 50% of a million invested is different to hold a gain of 50% of just an hundred invested, so your behavior should change depending of your amount. It change everything.

I plan on holding this long term. My gain is 35% but every div is reinvested. As someone else said, even if the div is halved, thats still 11 to 12%. Where are you going to get that in a highstreet bank account?

Thats more my point, other Brazilian names seem to have cut their dividends so the question would be is there any suggestion PBR is likely to follow. If so given the strong performance is the consensus still hold.

any news about the dividend?

Nothing received for now…

Usually takes a week or so, but turns up eventually. Could do with it soon as the price has dipped.
