Pineapple Power - PNPL - Share Chat

From yahoo shares chat - Got an update email from Clive @ Pineapple Power this morning. They are still moving forward with reverse takeover, but it’s proving more time-consuming with the complex procedures involved in due diligence and structuring of the proposed reverse takeover.

Is it my imagination or is PNPL trading again today?! It’s not showing up on Freetrade but in Trading View it appears to be trading since 14:14 on 1st March (and fell in price 47%). What’s happening here?

There does appear to be some trading today

no idea what this means

Looks like the acquisition isn’t going ahead.

Very curious about this also.

The first trades since August and there are dumps of 500,000 shares at 6.1p each, followed by another 200,000 at 5.5p each…

Termination of Proposed Acquisition

the parties were unable to come to a mutually acceptable agreement on valuation and the final structure of the transaction. The Directors therefore announce that the Heads of Terms with the shareholders of BVP has been terminated and that the Proposed Acquisition will not now proceed.

As the Proposed Acquisition is terminated, the Company has made an application to the FCA to request that the suspension of the trading of ordinary shares be lifted. This application is being considered by the FCA and the Company will update the market in due course as to the timing of the restoration and the recommencement of trading in the Company’s shares.

Well, looks like this is fully back to actively trading again today.
I’ll definitely be holding, and might even buy some more.

There is no mention of how much they spent on the failed transaction. This is not a large SPAC to the NAV will have dropped by a sizeable pct.

This is a great article. Thanks for sharing. Am tempted to buy more now on the drop.

I figure it’s still worth a punt on so I’m in for more.

It’s a long article without saying very much. Other than we’re a rare small SPAC which I don’t happen to think is a good thing. Most SPAC’s don’t end up owning 100% of their target - CCVI will only own ~4% of Polestar for example. What this means it they’re capped at the size of their target.

I don’t think CCVI is Polestar

GGPI Even! :man_facepalming:t2:

Why the big jump last 2 days

You’re paying for an ever diminishing pile of cash with PNPL, just before they announced their previous failed transactions and suspended trading the shares shot up. Seems the pineapple might have a leak, maybe the juice has been flowing again.

I doubt they’d pull out of the former deal without an alternative plan at least pencilled on the back of an envelope.

All quiet this month.

Creeping back up slowly

Can’t see why no news no information nothing.
I don’t stand to loose Much form these shares. Thankfully

The people in charge don’t seem to give a hoot about their shareholders. Never any news or communication.
