I’m only a minor player on this but has anyone got any news?
It’s my first spac merger so I’m just curious.
Thanks guys!

There’s been no news yet. Probably unlikely to hear anything until later in the year.

The last thing they’ve submitted is the latest RNS which details their accounts here: https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/PNPL/pineapple-power-corporation-interim-results/15158757

Not sure anyone really knows but the below link explains a bit about time and possibilities. :+1:

I don’t particularly mind how long it takes, when the deal was announced they said they aimed to be listed in the 4th quarter, so anytime before Christmas will hopefully let us know where we all stand.

The only concern for me is that on the latest press release on 1st October it says
“As no binding agreement has yet been reached, the company cannot guarantee that the proposed transaction will complete.”

So I suppose there’s only the people at BVP investments who know what the chances of it falling through are.

Watching this one with interest but I can’t help but feel that, given all the botched Brexit chaos, that it may have been a better investment to buy tinned pineapple chunks given the way the price of everything is soaring.

Good luck to all those involved in this though!

Has “Brexit” affected this reverse takeover in some way? It’s clearly an EU country merging/takeover of a UK company but can’t see how that would have an influence as it’s surely just a transaction between 2 parties. Wondering what you mean?

Some people like to think/promote every negative at the moment as being down to Brexit so any excuse to throw in the B word.

What are these muppets doing. Absolutely no communication what so ever, looking like a right amateur outfit.

I only hold a paltry 3000 shares but it’s still annoying being left in the dark.

Hi @Jwain88

They’re not allowed to talk about this until the deal is done / not done.

SPAC (before 2020) we fairly uncommon devices and even less so in the UK so the rules (which have been updated) are a bit archaic

I get that to a point. Just a were working on it, updates coming soon, watch this space early next year, blame brexit. Just anything other than nothing would be nice.

All of the above would be insider trading, the rules have been changed to closer reflect the US treatment of SPAC’s but this system was put in to protect you the investor from the price moving around lots and threatening the deal.

If they issued an RNS stating “we’re still working on the deal as we announced” you’d doubtlessly be frustrated. They’re in a no win situation until they either do this deal or don’t.

Are you happy with their target?

Ahhh!!! the wait and the fact there’s no news is taking it’s toll.

Surely they mustn’t have long left to complete the deal? Is there a time limit on how long these SPAC deals have to be concluded?
