Prioritise "Auto Reinvest Dividend" Functionality!

@freetrade, @Viktor

As a long-time Freetrade investor and a Plus subscriber, I have to express my deep disappointment that automatic dividend reinvestment is still not available within ISAs. Years have passed, and yet there has been no meaningful progress on this fundamental feature.

Surely, retaining existing customers and attracting new investors should be a priority. The inability to automate such a basic function makes managing investments unnecessarily difficult. This is not just a matter of technical feasibility—it’s about delivering essential features that enhance the user experience.

I strongly urge you to review your release schedule and development priorities to ensure this is addressed as soon as possible. Frankly, it is becoming increasingly difficult to justify staying on the platform, let alone recommending it to others, when such a critical feature remains absent.

Not sure why it is necessary?
Why not do it yourself?
I have it on Hargreaves Lansdown and don’t think much of it. The price they buy at always seems high. The actual purchase cannot, obviously take place on the day the dividend is paid as that would cause a spike.
So there is a two week period when it takes place. It can work out that you don’t actually see the shares in your account for over a month.
I only use it on Hargreaves as they don’t charge for dividend reinvesting.
Do it yourself it’s definitely not a fundamental feature on a no purchase charge broker.

Being able to set the price you pay is also a significant advantage of doing it yourself.
A suggestion, when you receive your dividend set a limit order, reinvest your dividend that way.

I have to say this isn’t something high on my radar but the op seems to be very interested in having this feature so maybe someone from freetrade could say what the chances of it happening soon are ?
