Freetrade currently offer a usable (but incomplete) selection of equity index tracking ETFs, but property and infrastructure investment trusts (ITs) seem few and far between.
It is possible that these kinds of ITs might not be highly correlated with the general stock market the next time it crashes, so you might consider diversifying to these.
Now, government bonds are even less likely to correlate with your index trackers, but the returns are very small.
So I’ve recently added a few ITs to the stock requests category that offer high yields without looking like they’re going to fail.
