Is anyone able to explain to me what happened today?
After a positive quarterly report, the premarket price was +10%, then the second the market opened it plummeted.
Was it just a bunch of people automated to sell a load as soon as it opened due to premarket value?
We are still below yesterdayā€™s close despite the positive report! Mental!

Hi everyone, newbie here. Iā€™m just wondering if thereā€™s a specific reason why rocket labs share price has dipped from $15 in 2021 to $5 now? Ive been buying shares when itā€™s around this price, and a bit lower. Iā€™m trying to learn how to read the market better. I saw that the CEO sold 22 million worth of their shares. Is that the reason/part of the reason.

Valuations tanked around 2021 for most if not all companies like RKLB. Peter Beck is an incredible engineer however he hasnā€™t managed to find profitably yet, if they can develop neutron cheaply enough it might be on the cards.

Rocket Lab has been tearing it up lately, I believe caused primarily by:

  1. Successful hot fire test of Neutron engine
  2. 1st quarter where they broke the $100m earnings/revenue
  3. Increased attention by retail investors, particularly due to ASTS mooning and additional attention by WSBs crowd

After years of bag holding, pleased to be in the green. Still holding tho. :gem: :palms_up_together:

Well done to those who have been patiently holding this. The share went past its SPAC price of $10 for the first time in 2 years today. Have been bagholding this since buying in at $12.90 and happy to have a sub $5 cost basis.

I can see further potential for RKLB in the future. It may have risen too sharply recently, and there may be some pull back, but given that this has the potential to be number 2 to Space X, itā€™s encouraging. SpaceX is valued from anywhere between $150-200bln, whilst RKLBs current valuation is just under $5 bln.

Cant believe how much this has gained in the past six months, well over 200%. Iā€™m currently up 157%.

Saving me from my THG holdings which is down 20% or AMD, which Iā€™m down 13%.

Iā€™m surprised at this. After finding it and buying my first investment I ended up keeping an eye on what they wrote up to. Was really hoping they would be successful. Didnā€™t put enough in for life changing rewards but itā€™s a nice win.

I took out 13% of my holding at yesterdays high, just to get my initial investment back. I will hold the rest for a very long time.
