I doubt this’d make a significant dent in Apple’s revenues, if they are forced to change their practises but I reckon this could be a big deal for anyone that relies on the App Store for distribution / revenue.
It seems like quite a big coincidence that Elizabeth Warren has just started railing against the monopolies of tech companies in the US. Perhaps Spotify think the political sentiment will work in their favour now.
