I have already let Freetrade support and others know this. With luck the relevant teams will switch the relevant flags soon. Of course if you are in a rush to buy any of these shares ping customer support

On the flip side it does mean that some stock that is in the free list should not be there e.g. SCIN (which was dropped from the FTSE250 in 2020). I will look through this latter list when I have the time and will then forward it on to Freetrade.

Yes - I agree. That is what I did: I wrote an automation script. For them the (trivial) missing piece would be to set a bit (TRUE/FALSE) in their database based on something like my script. My script has to do more heavy lifting than that they would need to do because they use one of the well known financial databases to source their index information.

Pleased to say that support has let me know that the relevant Freetrade team has reviewed and moved all those stocks to Basic.
