Let’s hope you’re right, SP dipping, but not severe.
The RNS was interesting last night. A massive sell off by an investor. That was done last Wednesday/Thursday so it explains why we were seeing the big drops last week.
Least we know who was doing all that selling now. They were probably just wanting to cash in part of their investment while the price had shot up so quickly.
Hopefully the price has stabilised now and can start pushing up again.
You need to be careful when interpreting these kind of RNS releases as it does not state that at all.
The previous RNS for Macquarie Group Limited’s holdings on 12 April stated they held 45 million shares.
As of the RNS last night they still hold 45 million shares.
The decrease in their percentage holdings from 3.428996% to 2.994590% is due to recent share issue by TM1 from the RNS announced on 21 April 2023, in other words it due to dilution, not share selling.
Are you sure that is correct? For a swing of that much there would have to have been a staggering amount of dilution taking place. Plus the change happened on Thursday last week according to the RNS.
I know there has been some dilution recently but if that were the case wouldn’t we be getting other RNS’s about other investors voting rights changing?
Am no expect and I may well be wrong, but your explanation doesn’t seem correct either.
I should add I’d rather your explanation be right. It would stop people worrying about an investor selling off big chunks
I’ve found people often get confused with TR1’s around dilution. I’ve seen it make people panic thinking major investors are selling etc when they’re not.
I haven’t looked at the RNS but TM1 have issued a ton of new shares so I imagine it’s probably a case of dilution rather than a sale.
I.E if they still own 45mn shares but the number of shares outstanding increases then they need to update the market as their % ownership decreases. (Unless they take part in the new funding / whatever the cause of the dilution was obvs.)
Lots of off loading of shares this morning? I guess people still cashing in?
Im a little gutted as i topped up yesterday… my timing sucks
Mot far off my loading point 1.80 maybe
Just watching, I’ll probably add before close to stay within stop loss. Value thesis
A little repartition but still a exciting read.
Hey peeps from your experience how long does it take for unsettled cash to be settled so you can withdraw ? Has anyone had id settle before 3 days
Odd one. I sold £1200 worth a few weeks ago and part was available instantly the rest had to wait 3 days. No idea how they manage that
Think we need a net for this one
Yeah mine has let me take 1k out over the week but is holding the rest. Im in the process of swapping some of my shares to my isa and it looks like i will have to wait a week to buy in again… thats a long time for an sp… wish me luck… gulp
Win win if sp dips further
Im not even in a position where i can buy back in yet. Other holdings have tanked so cant sell yet. Im also hoping it wont rise just yet !
Sorry to hear the other share tanked… so you and me both on the hoping it doesn’t rise just yet… im hoping to get 80% of my shares transferred over before it starts moving again…
Yes it highlights what we already know but still a good read as a reminder for what we are invested in. Just how far can the mobile recycling vehicles go?
Tighter regulations on lithium batteries is TM1s best friend.
You can buy other shares immediately, dont need to wait for the funds to be available to withdraw. Well I have in the GA account. I assume its the same for the other accounts.
