US Stock Charts Frozen at 4:43pm

Android user here.

All of the US stock charts appear to be frozen as at 16:43

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have tried flushing the app cache - no dice!

Yes there seems to be a data feed issue

@NeilB @bitflip someone to feed it up the line to?

Thought I’d tag @Freetrade_Team too, to try and grease the wheels amid this evening of many short squeezes

Happening for me too, iPhone.
Not the best timing, one must see the stonks

It must be a conspiracy. We’re making too much money today

FYI as far as I understand the system you should be able to buy and sell even if the price hasn’t updated. Trades are not based on the price displayed but the price available on the market

Praise the lord for TradingView and Yahoo Finance, otherwise I’d be flying blind

I’ve flagged this for a response from the team I would imagine it’s unlikely they aren’t aware.

Given that this seems to be affecting both iOS & android this would seem to be a data feed issue.

My app is frozen, since the trading halts in $BBBY price has not updated for at least 40 mins. No reply from support either! Absolute joke. I’m scared to sell in case the price data is incorrect. Sort it Freetrade

BBBY is currently 25.22 you can check on yahoo or a number of other feeds

There’s a data feed error as far as I can tell on freetrade at the moment.

Thanks pal….I don’t use the app for live price data anyhow… was mostly worried about what would happen if I hit the sell button with the app price frozen

As I understand price data is separate from actual buy and sell functions.

The price data is representative, though not that we want issues with the price as freetrade don’t have a quote system. When you buy and sell it will always go out to the available systems to buy and sell for the best price available at the time

It appears the data feed may have returned

It seems to have been fixed now. Not sure if others have been updated yet.

It looks like this has been resolved.

For reference the price displayed in the app is not the price at which a market order will execute - it will execute at the best available price regardless of whether or not there is an issue with the pricing feed.
