I agree with the basic trade however could an ETF be less appealing than a familiar company? Donāt want to scare off first time investors before theyāve downloaded the app
Congratulations on the launch of Plus, I jumped on the video and Freetrade website following the reception of today email from Duncan.
I like the overall look and feel of the page, informative yet not overwhelming text.
I feel the copy relies on financial jargon some time and some effort could be put in welcoming a larger audience that might not be familiar with all the terms and may need reassurance.
Few suggestions if I may:
When you invest, your capital is at risk
Maybe add a * to provide more context and/or make the FCA, FSCS clickable so it is easier to dig further and understand the level of risk and protection
bigger stock universe: how bigger?
The Freetrade stock universe:
Maybe add an updated count of the stock universe under Freetrade and Freetrade plus.
Surely FTSE 350, MSCI, Vanguard, S&P are telling for existing investors. New investors may get lost in translation, I would suggest links for every components. And maybe exemples of the most popular stocks for each sub-category? Apple, Tesla, Googleā¦

This is confusing. At a quick glance, both Freetrade and Plus show similar length lists. I would suggest to move optional paying features (ISA and FX rate) in a separate box āoptional featuresā under the Freetrade ābasicā column.
This would make the benefits of Plus clearer and shows the limit of the basic offering
I realize most of those suggestions are addressed on Freetrade homepage. However I foresee potential new investors landing on the Plus page and I feel their experience could be improved with the above. Hope that makes sense and that those little changes will help in attracting and educating more investors

Maybe add an updated count of the stock universe under Freetrade and Freetrade plus.
The actual number is still increasing and will continue to increase with new IPOs, exchanges in other countries etc. But weāll consider a rough count or a way to show this.
