Most of the more controversial ones I wrote. BT is my favourite, that was and is personal. Still waiting for Starlink.
I guessed the BT was a personal thing but didn’t know who.
I was trying to build a Robinhood killer on 3 megabits per second.
That’s the funniest comment of the day!
It’s not the size speed that matters, it’s how you use it.
Depends on what your Driving? Turd might be a compliment??
It’s official the Freetrade description should/will be Freetrade - Robinhood Killer
Forget the making a profit from my shares on an IPO I just can’t wait to see the FT description on the app!!
Is that likely to happen? Freetrade listed on Freetrade?
Can you imagine the uproar if they were not after IPO?
I love the BT one, but perversely because they’re the best and most reliable internet in my area. Without BT I wouldn’t have been able to reliably work from home through Covid.
Hotel Chocolat is another good one.
Disney is my fav - Princesses, Spider-Man, Darth Vadar
Yes! That is great and what an odd movie that would be too.
Also can I take 2 seconds to say
- Love the user name! @Beard
- You’ve waited since Jan 2020 to post and this nonsense thread get you to dip you toe in. Brilliant, I love this place!
Says a lot about my mental age!
R6 investor but it doesn’t appear like your R5 - I feel cheated
Just checked - not got that setting in my preferences.
DM sampoullain and see if he can help.
Certainly will, thanks
I don’t want to be a damp squib but I feel ft should avoid obviously negative or positive descriptions, funny or not. Many people will take those as indicators to buy or avoid the stock, which ft need to steer clear of for obvious legal reasons!
I think it is terribly un-professional but I do love and laugh at it but I doubt people would really base a buy/sell on what is clearly a bit of fun. I would love to see the owners/CEOs of some companies reactions to whatever their description was though.
