That’s right, as long as you buy before the ex-dividend date, you will qualify.
Is this an error on the Dividend calendar or am I missing something?
Payment date appears to be before the ex-dividend date on the previous two dividend notifications. Is this the ex-dividend date for next year’s dividend?
You’ve literally just got to read the posts above you in the thread……
Is it not impossible to have an ex date after the payment date, because the ex date determines who gets a payment? I understand that next year’s dividend ex date may be the day after this year’s payment date, but should that not be in a separate notification, with this year’s dividend displaying the last ex date, not the next?
Rethinking, I suppose a calender should look forward, but it does add some confusion as all other notifications have the ex date relating to the current dividend being paid and on this occasion it is referring to the dividend after.
When I click the i next to ex dividend date on the notification it states that it relates to the “upcoming dividend” which in this case is incorrect and has lead to my question.
Sorry, I’ve had heavy medication this morning and maybe my brain is melting
So are you saying that the ex date recorded is for the dividend paid the day before? It seems counter intuitive, but then so does the dividend yield of ZIM!
Yes. For US dividends where the dividend is greater than 25% of the share price the ex dividend date will be after the pay date.
Anyone still waiting for the dividend?
Im out of the stock now (I can’t handle that volatility), but i would like to reinvest that div
Answer no, still waiting, but FT are always a bit slow. Expecting it some time next week after Easter. Only have a small holding as want to see how this share behaves. Want to see if my 5 shares will pay for my FT subscription . If it doesn’t I’m off.
Still no divvy-Even Etoro paid 3 days ago
Have zim completely stopped divs? Or just reduced ?
Anyone been paid the dividend yet?? Should of been here several days ago
T212 paid it on the 7th.
Incorrect, neither. What is making you think they have stopped dividends?
Dividends can take a few weeks to hit your account. Have a look at your brokers terms and conditions, it will explain this.
