Iāve made a deposit today. I maxed out last years ISA allowance. Money has landed in account and now invested. So yes.
The allowance bar has not been fixed yet but this does not effect deposits for this new tax year
The bar is working for me
Currently it is not working for me (iPhone)
Deposit and bar remains the same, I have an open call with Support who are looking into it
Bar is now working with remaining ISA allowance in top right of screen on I phone.
Thanks for following up and letting me know that this does now appear to be working. I shall give it a go right now.

Still not working for me , a bit annoyed I deposited money 12.55am as I wanted to buy something today
To update; email received 00:00 06-Apr-2020 to confirm ISA open. Ā£1 transferred from linked bank account with ISA account details 00:23. Android app (Samsung S7 FWIW). Funds not yet displayed. ISA balance āĀ£0.00 remainingā. Will post again once matters changeā¦

Iām really sorry that you were unable to deposit this morning.
Existing users were unable to deposit money into their ISAs until ~2pm today. It also means that ISA allowances are shown as Ā£0 (when theyāre actually Ā£20k). Anybody who made an ISA deposit before 2pm today should have been contacted by customer ops to let them know that the deposit failed.
Right now you can deposit again. Once youāve deposited youāll see your remaining allowance get updated shortly after. Weāre also rolling out changes for our client apps that will update the Ā£0 limit to Ā£20k for all users, even if you donāt deposit. The Android update will be available tomorrow and iOS within a couple of days (following review).
Apologies for the confusion this has caused, we will review this incident and ensure our processes are improved to prevent this happening again.

Thanks @MatAtFreetrade - Iāll make sure the customer ops team reach out directly and make sure your deposit balance is up to date ASAP. In some instances funds need to be manually allocated but the team are working on that as I type and everybody will be up to date before midday tomorrow.
Update: Monies have now arrived, all is well

Hey @JayB, thatās correct.
My deposit came through at 2pm today. Now even the bar has been updated and showing the correct remaining allowance.
Whilst I appreciate the fact that the issue got resolved in the same day and still managed to get my orders through, that is something that should have been anticipated by the team and I would expect that some testing should have taken place.
Anyway, whatās done is done, something to consider for the future

Whilst testing was completed for this feature there were serious deficiencies. Weāll be reviewing the process internally this week to see how we can improve our process.
@Ian - Where is the link in the Freetrade app to open an isa?
Trying my hardest to find one positive thing to say about this service, its tough.
It should be on the Account screen
Accessible from the Profile icon top right of the Portfolio screen.
On the Portfolio page, press the account icon in the top right (on Android), the Open an ISA is in there (it becomes Manage ISA once an ISA is open).
