All of the shares are held in a nominee account which means they are ring fenced from the rest of the company. If Freetrade were to go bust a desktop application wouldn’t help.
The desktop will come but, there is a race going on for European users, the road map look like FT want to get -
a. European users before they open accounts with the competition
b. More UK users by offering EU & International stocks.
I don’t think I’d used the desktop app that much but know it’s a popular feature.
