New user. Can find the share (Vertu) in discover but there is no buy option, only ‘add to recurring order’ which I don’t want to do. Other shares available to buy. Why please?

If you’re on the Basic plan then I don’t believe that’s part of the available shares. You’d need to be on Standard or Plus.

Hi @midgler I use Yahoo Finance to check out ticker information is correct.
Enter the full company name and it will show you the correct ticker abbreviation or show No Results, hope this helps
