With coca cola doing well atm, does this indicate that a dip might end up coming soon?

no dip ending anytime soon. I think at least another 6-12 monthsI wouldnt worry about apple and amazon at all to be fair,me thinks they will be green for you soon enough.dont know too much about the others to be fair.

Still waiting here…and for a few others from the 15th. technically it’s not been ‘5 working days’ since the payment date.

I got Coca-Cola as a free share and so it’s the only share in my GIA (pretty much everything is in my ISA). It’s got a reasonable but not amazing dividend and my (admittedly limited) observation is that the price doesn’t vary much.
I’m curious to see whether anyone has a view as to the pros and cons of keeping it as opposed to selling it and using the money for other either dividend or growth stocks?
Hi @1anrs I would look at some you tube videos of warren buffets track record with coca cola. I’ve got 12 shares in them. I would look at buying them up in a slump. However I’m wary about buying us shares when pound is weaker so keeping an eye on the exchange rate. I’m probably going to get some more maybe October when share prices may go down and if the exchange rate is better. Just my opinion though as no one knows what will definitely happen.

Thanks for the reply, in the intervening time I’ve actually moved onto adding US stocks as the recent slump in UK shares showed me how unbalanced my portfolio was. I’ve now got 8 Coca-Cola shares I think it is. They were recently priced around $54 so I snapped up quite a few despite the lower £ and am nicely in the green

Who’s waiting for their dividend?
July 1st divi at least a week late. Must be nice to collect the thousands of interest holding these and not paying them out!
