Community Meetup - 8 PM Wed 12th May 2021, live on Zoom

The location of your stock doesnā€™t change based on where you are. eg your UK stocks will always be in CREST, the UK central securities depository. We will accommodate your change of address though, as long as it is a country we can support from a compliance point of view, and the green list will grow as we expand.

After being a little disappointed yesterday, this information is what I was asking for.

This is GREAT NEWS! You have made my day! And the expected timeline for the eurozone is fantastic!

Thanks for answering things in here!

The simple explanation is that our compliance function is not comfortable that we can stand behind our standards on best execution for trades over that size. We will be increasing the limit soon and will do so prudently with our customersā€™ best outcomes in mind. It Is something we discuss intensely internally to make sure we deliver quality that our customers can trust.

Thank you :+1: I and many others do have the faith but get tired of defending it as some make out FT will screw them over :man_facepalming:

Will Freetrade be lauching in Australia and Canada in early 2022 or is the plan to launch this year.

Thank you for getting this response Gary. It really is appreciated!

As per one of my questions posted before the meeting:

Is there any plan to allow us to keep an ISA open if we become temporarily tax resident outside one of the green list countries? Given that there is no ISA requirement that says we canā€™t hold an ISA in this situation (only that we canā€™t continue to fund it), why not?

Early 2022 is probably a good expectation. We like beating expectations!

Hey Ralf, not sure on that one. Would need to check with our ops team. I can tell you our default is to keep customer accounts open if possible!

Adam,

Do you plan implementing stocks analyst ratings and price targets feature in the freetrade app 2021-2022?

I think we already have that data in internal versions of the app. Fundamentals+ coming to Plus :white_check_mark:

Hi Adam, I understand you mentioned before on Clubhouse that FT might in 2021 introduce securities lending as well as the functionality to go short on positions. Is this still likely to happen this year?
