Hi quite new to freetrade just wondering in general expecting to get my 1st dividend paid today if these are usually paid on time or held for a little while by freetrade any help guidance appreciated
I received a dividend today that was paid out on the 27th, so I assume it takes a couple of days to hit your account.

thank you was used to getting it paid on same day with my last broker guess that is the trade off with free trade and no fees at least i know what to expect thankyou

I think there are a few manual processes here and there, and this could be one of them (perhaps someone from FT can clarify) but from what I have picked up from recent AMAs, these kind of things will be improved over time. I have never missed a payment though, they always come through eventually

Yeah typically its about 3 days, sometimes 4. if its much over 7 (working days) then drop them a message in the app and they’ll look into it - I’ve never had a problem with any of mine but I understand somebody may expect it on the same day.

Do you get a notification to let you know a dividend has arrived?

Yeah youll get a notification saying some along the lines of ‘new activity in your account’ or something like that anyway

There’s also an email with all the details of the payment.
