Evraz - EVR - Share Chat

Theyre a british company though? I doubt theyd pull out of LSE on putins say so as a british PLC

Doesn’t appear to be. Perhaps those latest trades are those which had been done off the book before the suspension and only been updated afterwards.

They’re a majority Russian owned British business.

The UK government has made statements which it needs to back up.

Evraz Plc has explicitly stated: The Company confirms that it supplies long steel to infrastructure and construction sectors only.. The full statement covers other things see:

Now this has been suspended what happens next ? Do we sit back and hope it gets relisted or just wipe it off and forget about it

But of both. There isn’t anything you can do so assigning a value to it would be fruitless.

In the Daily Mail today it is reported that Roman Abramovich has struck a deal with the Government to now go ahead with selling Chelsea football club.
Perhaps there is hope for EVR if he does a similar agreement with his share holdings.
The company has refuted the claim that it’s steel was used to make Russian tanks.

So we have lost our investment??

Not at this stage, you still own the shares. They removed it from the indexes as it’s now too small by market cap to be included

This is incorrect. The removal is a policy move by the owners of Russell-FTSE and has nothing to do with market cap. You may have confused this particular issue with the previously announced relegation from FTSE100 which is a market cap issue.

Yeah, it’s no longer part of the FTSE indices so index tracker funds will no longer buy into them.

Evraz is still listed on the London stock exchange (for now) but the buying and selling of shares remain suspended by the looks of things.

This may have already been covered, but what happens to our dividends with Evraz?
