Does anyone know what would happen to our shares, from a broker point of view, if Evraz delisted from LSE?
Freetrade already use the NYSE so would our shares just be concerted to $?
For me, if it got to the stage where i couldnt sell them on freetrade id still quite like them on there just so i could see them

I have some shares of an unlisted company in my freetrade account. I got them as part of a demerger.
They show up but donât have any price info attached to them, just the number of shares with value set to ÂŁ0.
I donât know if a delisted evraz would be treated the same but it is possible for FT to have shares of unlisted companies sitting in a portfolio.

Itâs likely that they would move to the Moscow stock exchange and would effectively become untradable. Certainly for the foreseeable, if not indefinitely, I think itâs a case of writing off any money held in Evraz.

I suppose you only have a truly diversified portfolio if you have some suspended stocks!

Possibly/probably this is sunk money however there are parts of the company that operate in the US, Canada, Italy and Ukraine so some value may remain in the future.

If the company is listed in Moscow youâll not be able trade your shares as Freetrade donât support Russian exchanges. Given the sanctions and situations itâll be a while until they do.

If the company does choose to move markets, do the pink tickets automatically move too? I understand freetrade doesnât support Russian markets but Iâm sure everybody that invested via freetrade would like some informative support.

This will be a bridge that is crossed if and when it happens. As a globally minded company moving to the Russian exchange would limit their ability to raise capital in a huge way.
I think itâs reductive to simply put âLarge Russian Shareholdersâ & âThe Moscow exchange togetherâ. There is a reason when ever anyone makes any money in Russia itâs immediately taken out of the country.

Pretty sure the payment went through the next day. Evraz paid on time but the money was being held up by a middle man
Yeah, but try that excuse paying your leccy bill.
As far as SG is concerned, they didnt get the payment.
What happend now is anyones guess though
