Fractional shares in an ISA

Since the election has been called, all legislative and policy changes announced by the Government are currently on hold, which will delay changes to allow it.

Until any changes are formally implemented, the official line from HMRC is that they are not eligible to be held in an ISA.

Expectations of firms offering fractional shares to retail investors

Just because Trading212 are currently allowing people to buy fractional shares, doesn’t mean they should be.
