Freetrade FX Supplier Prohibiting Orders

That’s a good point. It will be interesting to see the fall out from this in terms of regulatory changes, changes in partnerships between providers, class action lawsuits in the US and perhaps legal action between partners/providers for breaches of contract?

It’s all absolutely wild… and caused by one subreddit.

Well, it sounds like FreeTrade needs to change their supplier or certainly have the ability to switch providers when required.

It’s unacceptable what is going on here when big corpo’s lose some money well we can’t have that, can we? Let’s change the system to placate them rather than everyone else…

Perhaps they should have invested more wisely why should we pay the price for their greed…

Very good point tbh

If you can’t change the FX provider than create your own. I think it should be on the FT’s 2021/2022 road map.

So, you want freetrade to become a multinational bank this year? This feels like people vastly overestimate Freetrade’s reach. It’s a small startup, it has very limited resources and doesn’t have any leverage vis-a-vis all of the other large financial actors.

This was more on a joke side. I believe that most of the people here really love the work that Freetrade has done since the inception and sometimes you are indeed right we might overestimate the reach.
