Fresh from Google alerts. Good one Victor.
Our community has been a massive part of our success. Theyāve been our biggest champions and continuously push us to build the right features and improve the product.
In a future world of many zero-fee providers, trust, transparency (particularly in Europe), and technology (the three Tās as we dub them internally) will be the differentiating factors. Incumbents canāt take any of these factors for granted when it comes to millennials.
Another one, when youāre building a startup, itās continuously shedding its skin and morphing into something thatās not right for everyone. It seems to me that it was yesterday our whole company fit around a relatively small table at the Korean hotpot place next to our first office. But not everyone from the early team stays for the entire ride. If the startup is going places, its culture scales into a higher-performing one thatās not a fit for everyone.
and the Gen Z @Viktor

I wonder what valuation the raise was at?
āYouāre gonna see some stuff that hasnāt been seen anywhere else in the world in 2020,ā the CEO teased.
āIt feels like validation,ā says Dodds. āWhen I started Freetrade I felt a little out in the woods, this crazy Canadian in London saying this is gonna be huge, trust meā¦ now a couple of years later, theyāre finally catching on.ā
Sorry @adam because youāre Canadian I thought you said I started Freetrade in the woods
We have an exciting āpitch deck articleā on Business Insider today [paywall]:
Only a few startups are interesting enough to have their pitch decks published by Business Insider, normally featuring much higher amounts such as European scooter company VOI that raises $85 million āto take on Bird and Limeā. Weāre proud they considered us interesting for this feature!
For our community members, hereās the pitch deck in the Business Insider article:
Heads-up: itās a shortened version of the Crowdcube deck.
Enjoy!
Mods please remove if this is not okay. I found searching for the first sentence.
