Itā€™s sounds like itā€™s only available to select investors perhaps? - Professional investors and/or who are able to invest high monetary amounts.

From reading about convertible notes, it doesnā€™t sound like the kind of thing that just anyone should be investing in (and perhaps for good reason, even after reading, it all doesnā€™t mean much to me).

Itā€™s a fair point but they know that there is no way of containing the information shared (as we can see on here already) with thousands of shareholders out there therefore, they only share information that they know wonā€™t hurt them if in the public domainā€¦.

Actually an excellent update. For me the biggest message is:

ā€œThe core business of Freetrade is very strong.

Our business model works and scales as predicted. We are monetising our asset base while providing a low-fee solution to customers. We can scale this without having to add significantly to our overhead costs.ā€

Perhaps not going gung-ho with expansion and growth over the past few months has been very wise given the macro conditions. Focus on getting our house in order / pillars in place then turn on the after burners in the coming 12 months with a far more supportive market / sentiment.

Overall a positive update from Adam.
I can understand how the business suffered in the downturn.
Iā€™m not sure about the CLN compared to a standard share issue, but I guess from the private investor perspective itā€™s about the same?

Iā€™m not sure whether I will be investing in this round but I am still very positive about Freetrade and itā€™s future and will continue to invest my money with them.

Same here ie no email despite investing in a couple of previous rounds.

I hope the communication issues will be sorted out so that existing investors are actually able to invest if they wish in the 24 hour period.

I just pray that Adam can get out of meetings and get back to the staff.

He has to get them focused on delivering features and getting them out the door. All the plans in the world mean nothing if you donā€™t ship it.

Good to see such communication and transparency from Adam. A sign of how times are changing with the investment world.
Of course delivery is everything and I for one wish them every success. Iā€™m sure over time this business will change peopleā€™s financial awareness, knowledge and ultimately long term financial wealth. Remember, investing is long term game, Rome wasnā€™t built in a day. Well done freetrade.
