We should see improvements some time in the future once they make changes to UK dividends

This situation has attracted the attention of people across the pond, according to chatter among investment experts. It could be the trigger for a new wave of takeovers or mergers in the space.

" Investment in London Array offshore wind farm "

With the potential for more localised pricing in the grid, makes sense to invest in areas all across the country, particularly in the South East where demand is most likely never to be met by renewables.

One more week of this trend and I’ll be back in the green. Anyone seen any news of a buyout looming?

I think it was more about this:

I’ve not seen anything but I haven’t been keeping up with the news lately.

While it’s been looking relatively cheap, I can’t see anyone buying UKW (famous last words) as it’s the biggest trust in the sector, so it’d cost billions.

I could see a merger or something though – there are 20-plus trusts in this sector which is far too many.

Ah ha!

10p for the year result!!

They’re buying around 200K/day, which looks like it’ll be consistent with it ending October next year.

Also ex-divi and still trading at a 10% discount to NAV. Yield still looking good.

As with all my other money in wind/solar (like Ripple Energy’s community wind farms), the main unknown for me is any overhaul in grid pricing since many of these projects have a lifetime decades into the future.

Still buying back and cancelling shares which is good.

I’m not so sure, shouldn’t they be investing those funds in growth rather than effectively spending it on ownership.

I see that there is also Greencoat Renewables PLC on the Dublin stock exchange. Is that the same company as the one listed in London or are they two separate ones?

EX dividend tomorrow.
I may buy some.
The share price often falls by more than the dividend.
Could pick them up cheap. Resulting in higher dividends in the future by forgoing the next dividend.
I often keep an eye out for companies going exdivided for purchase on that day.

Well its a big dividend this time 3.41 pence to pass on

Set limit to low. Nowt

Seems to have good fundamentals this bad boy, and juicy dividends to boot. I’m relatively new into it so have thankfully missed most of the recent pain. Anyone know why it’s tanking (today excluded having gone ex-div)? General apathy to ESG/clean energy stocks perhaps?
