Lovely Emmie, reminds me of where my dad lives - Portobello outside Edinburgh (although photo was taken from North Berwick).
For myself, I have to admit, the bright lights of London probably better suited though.

It is indeed the Bass Rock. Taken from around the week before Christmas when I visited my dad in Edinburgh. Fascinating place, apparently the world’s largest colony for gannets!

It is, think you can get a boat ride out to see it. Lovely part of the world but your London photo is fab too, nothing like city lights to get in the Christmas spirit!
