Did they say if the £2000 average is based on those with more than £0 or it includes those with an empty account?
@Freetrade_Team any update on the Irish beta when is it going live is there a hold up?

Based on last 10 entry points, FT is growing at around 550 users per day.
Based on information from August, FT is growing at around 470 users per day.
To achieve 300K before the end of 2020, FT should grow at around 585 users per day.
I imagine if/when Freetrade starts to push more marketing campaigns the user growth would also increase too. As of yet this growth has basically been without any huge wide scale online marketing campaigns which is fairly impressive when you compare it to platforms like T212 hitting me with an unskippable ad on every YouTube video I watch.
I imagine that actually puts a lot of people off, you donāt want your brand to be associated with being annoying. Which is what that would do for me if I didnāt have an adblocker that works on youtube ads
This is true tbf they are annoying with the volume of ads they have. I have ad blocker on my laptop but nothing for my phone so I have to watch them. It depends on the individual I guess. If itās constantly hitting someone who in the moment isnāt interested in investing but at some point in the future they decide they want to get into it, then they are likely the first company theyād think about.
Though I donāt think spamming ads should be FTās approach either, a more strategic campaign would be better for the brand. T212ās vibe of almost aggressive marketing likely doesnāt appeal to a lot of people, and their branding isnāt that aesthetically pleasing or welcoming either whereas FTās definitely is.
They should update Keeping your money safe to say āā¦more than 200,000 usersā now then

Is that around 400 a day?
Iām thinking more like 500-550/day which is mainly inline with how we have been tracking recently.
Interestingly I see Chip are tracking at around the same level of users, having broken through 250,000 users (well ahead of their target by end of 2020). For those invested in both (I am) thatās pretty tasty.

Quite a drop off in August. Summer holidays?

Is there any information on the status of the testing in Ireland and The Netherlands, not to mention progress towards France and Germany.
This is just a guess, but if I were freetrade Iād be reluctant to commit to EU accounts till the Brexit negotiations complete EOY. They could result in anything from a continuation of current financial passports to a complete breakdown of relations so the regulatory environment is pretty unclear right now. The madness of hard Brexit seems very unlikely but it is possible.
Clarity on regulations, an EU entity, and Euro accounts, would all be required for a full EU launch IMO.
Freetrade are advertising a bunch of new roles for the French and German markets at the moment. And a position in Luxembourg.
Brexit has been a WIP for years now, there is no way they are waiting for the discussions to end before moving ahead with international expansion.
Pretty sure they said somewhere they opened an entity in the Netherlands in order to be able to operate & offer trading in ā¬.
If thatās the case theyāre well on the way then. Thatās encouraging news.
