I just saw a Freetrade ad on Facebook!

Does this mean we are finally in the “aggressive marketing campaign to acquire customers” phase, or was it just an experiment?

I would hope that the stock universe of thousands would be rolled out before doing a big marketing push. Then again, I am not an expert. I guess there’s value in speed as well with other players coming into the market.

Very personal opinion, but Revolut launching a similar service and hints of Robinhood coming kind of justify an acceleration on this side.

That’s exciting!

Pretty cool that facebook shows this data. I’m not sure about the text they’ve gone for ‘Best Share Trading Platform’, seems a bit wishy washy, i would have thought freetrade have perfectly good, tangible selling points, i.e. commission free investing.

I would have thought that the term ‘investing’ would resonate more with first time investors than ‘trading’ as trading has very negative connotations for people who people who don’t have much experience in the area.

Guess there will be a whole load of versions of the ad with varying copy, and they’ll measure which perform.
